Our albizia wood paipo (paepo'o) seek to perpetuate and celebrate traditional Hawaiian surf practice while making as little environmental impact as possible in the surf industry. These boards, based on models used over the last thousand years, are made almost entirely out of clean and renewable resources. Unlike modern boards requiring fiberglass, resins, and harsh chemicals, our paipo are crafted from natural wood and finished with linseed oil to reduce water absorption. 

The paipo board is fully functional in the water but also perfect for displaying in your home to honor the roots of your favorite sport.
