Our surfboards are designed and made on O'ahu by our team of shapers & craftsmen. We offer a green alternative to the petroleum-heavy surf industry by sourcing our wood from a certified regenerative supply chain. Each surfboard supports native forest restoration and contributes to Hawaii’s green economy.
Wood with a Purpose
Hawaiʻi-grown albizia, Falcataria moluccana, is one of the fastest growing tree species in the world. This makes it among most problematic invasive species in the state. It is known to damage homes and infrastructure and threatens Hawaii’s native ecosystems.
The need to remove it and it’s Balsa-like properties was the perfect opportunity to turn it into sustainable, locally-grown surfboards.
